Westhaven Workshop Manager

Ovlov Marine seek a skilled senior manager to run all aspects of our busy Auckland Central workshop - located at the Orams Marine Village in Westhaven.

This is an exciting and diverse role with New Zealand’s largest Volvo Penta Dealer established in 1978.

A successful applicant will be well organised, focused and have excellent attention to detail and strong customer service skills.

Liaising with clients to understand their needs and managing works from inception through to invoicing with the assistance of a workshop administrator.

Following well set out service protocols to maintain vessels to a high standard.

Mentoring and training staff and apprentices.

Reporting and warranty processing for our key brands.

Working in conjunction with the two other Ovlov Marine locations of Pine Harbour and Gulf Harbour to ensure best outcomes for clients.

Good computer literacy and skills is required.

Excellent communication both internally and externally.

A knowledge of the Volvo Penta product would be an advantage and ongoing training and upskilling will be a must.

Applicants for this position must have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit with no restrictions as well as a clean and full NZ Drivers licence
